ACT – Terms & Conditions

ACT’s role

Aegean Connect Travel (ACT) connects guests with trusted, locally run operators offering activities, accommodation, and related services in and around Bodrum, Türkiye.

ACT coordinates and facilitates arrangements but does not operate activities, provide accommodation, or deliver transport services directly. All services are provided by independent third-party operators.

A planning or confirmation deposit paid to ACT confirms and secures coordination and arrangements.

Final payments for activities or services are made directly by guests to the relevant operators, unless otherwise stated.

Operator responsibility

Each independent operator is solely responsible for the delivery of their services, including safety standards, operational practices, relevant licensing and insurance, and their own booking, cancellation, and refund policies.

Guests agree to comply with the terms and conditions set by each operator.

Availability and changes

All activities and services are subject to availability, weather conditions, and local circumstances.

ACT may assist guests where changes are required and will liaise with operators on the guest’s behalf, but cannot guarantee specific outcomes or availability.

Deposits

To confirm a booking, a confirmation deposit is required. This deposit secures planning, coordination, and availability for the agreed experience.

The confirmation deposit may include:
• the Aegean Connect Travel coordination fee
• any initial deposit required by the activity operator

From the guest’s perspective, this is a single payment made to confirm the booking.

Once the confirmation deposit has been received, ACT will begin coordination and secure arrangements with the relevant operator(s).

The confirmation deposit is non-refundable once coordination work has commenced.

Payments and balances

Some experiences, particularly multi-day or high-value activities such as Blue Voyages, may require a further payment prior to the activity date. This payment forms part of the operator’s pricing structure and is not an additional ACT fee.

Any remaining balance, including any advance payments required by the operator, is payable according to the operator’s stated payment schedule (for example, a balance due 30 days prior to departure).

Any remaining balances are payable directly to the activity operator, in accordance with the operator’s stated payment terms.

Activities and risk

All activities are operated by independent third-party providers.

Responsibility for safety, instruction, equipment, supervision, and insurance rests solely with the activity operator.

Many activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to weather conditions, water conditions, physical exertion, and equipment use. By booking, guests acknowledge and accept these inherent risks.

Liability

ACT is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or delay arising from services provided by third-party operators.

Any disputes relating to the delivery of an activity or service must be resolved directly with the relevant operator.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are set by the operator and will be communicated at the time of booking. ACT does not control operator refund policies and cannot override them.

Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Türkiye.

Language

These Terms and Conditions are provided in English. A Turkish version may be provided for convenience. In the event of inconsistency, the Turkish legal framework shall apply.
