What exactly does ACT do?
ACT connects travellers with carefully selected, locally run activities and trusted operators in and around Bodrum. We coordinate arrangements, answer questions, and help shape experiences that suit how you want to spend your time, without operating activities or selling packaged holidays.
Do you sell fixed packages?
No. ACT shares example combinations for inspiration only. These are not fixed itineraries and are designed to be adapted or simplified depending on timing, availability, and preferences.
Can I mix and match activities?
Yes. That’s how ACT works. Some guests plan one or two activities in advance and add others once they arrive, depending on weather, energy levels, and local conditions.
Do I need to plan everything before I arrive?
Not at all. Many guests arrive with a loose outline and build from there. Some activities are better arranged on the ground once you’ve settled in.
Do you stay in touch while guests are in Bodrum?
Yes. ACT remains available during your stay for coordination related to booked activities and for adding further activities where appropriate. Communication takes place by message during business hours and is limited to activity planning and arrangements.
Can activities be arranged at short notice?
Often, yes. Particularly boat-based and water activities. Availability depends on season and conditions, but last-minute options are common in Bodrum.
Who handles bookings and payments?
ACT coordinates enquiries, availability, and confirmations, and remains your main point of contact throughout the process.
To secure arrangements, a planning deposit is required. This confirms bookings and covers coordination and any operator deposits where necessary.
Final balances are paid directly by guests to individual service operators, according to their terms. This keeps payments transparent and allows services to be delivered directly by local providers.
Is ACT a tour operator or travel agency?
No. ACT is a local connector and curator. We do not operate tours, own assets, or sell packaged holidays. All services are delivered by independent local operators.
Who are the operators you work with?
ACT works only with independent, locally run operators who are established in their field and known personally through long-standing local networks. We prioritise reliability, organisation, and consistency rather than listing every available option.
Are activities suitable for groups?
Yes. ACT regularly works with couples, families, and small groups. Activities can be arranged so not everyone needs to do the same thing.
When should I visit Bodrum?
Bodrum works year-round. Outside peak season, travel is often easier than expected, with frequent domestic connections via Istanbul.
Do I need my own travel insurance?
Yes. All guests are strongly advised to have comprehensive personal travel insurance when travelling to Türkiye.
While ACT works only with professional operators, operator insurance does not replace personal travel insurance. Policies typically cover business and third-party liability, not personal medical costs, evacuation, cancellations, or equipment damage.
Does travel insurance cover activities and sports?
Not always. Many standard policies exclude or limit coverage for activities such as sailing, diving, or water sports unless additional cover is purchased. Guests should check their policy carefully and confirm coverage before travelling.
Does ACT provide insurance for guests?
No. ACT does not provide travel or activity insurance. Guests remain responsible for arranging insurance suitable for their trip and chosen activities.
